PARTS AND
AVAILABILITY:
We purchase from several marine
distributors with multiple
warehouse locations throughout the
country. Most orders are shipped
within 2 working days of receipt
of order. If an item is not
available, the customer will have
the option to cancel the order
with no penalty or request the
part be shipped when it becomes
available.
SPECIAL ORDERS:
Special order merchandise is non-returnable. There is a $20.00 minimum order for special orders and any freight or drop ship charges from the factory will be added to the invoice. Special orders must be paid in advance and cannot be canceled once they are placed. Customers will be notified of any item that is special order before the order is placed. Customer may cancel special order items at this time with no penalty.
SHIPPING INFORMATION:
We ship via UPS. All packaging is done with care to insure that your order is received in good condition. All packages are insured. Any damage, shortage or discrepancy discovered on a shipment should be reported immediately to the carrier and a proper claim filed with the shipper. Damage and shortage of packages is the responsibility of the delivering carrier.
Customers may request other modes of shipping however there may be additional handling charges.
RETURN POLICY:
No merchandise may be returned to us without prior authorization. We will accept, after permission has been given, merchandise that may appear to be defective or merchandise shipped in error. Special orders, materials made to order, cut to length, etc., cannot be returned and are not refundable. New and restock able merchandise in its original packing may be returned within 15 days of purchase. Returns after 15 days will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Freight charges on return items are non-refundable and return merchandise must be sent freight pre-paid.
WARRANTY:
As a marine equipment dealer we purchase from several manufacturers. These manufacturers have a warranty for their product line. A copy of which is available upon request. We do not offer any warranties, expressed or implied, other
than what is offered by the manufacturer. The Boat Doctor Inc does not assume responsibility or liability for workmanship or use of products purchased from our manufacturing suppliers. However, as a courtesy to our customers, we may accept for return any products sold by our company that may appear defective. Acceptance of any such products by The Boat Doctor, Inc does not constitute an admission of liability nor validity to a claim but is done solely to assist customer and manufacturer. Products that are accepted under the above conditions are either returned to the manufacturer or held for their agent to inspect for any warranty consideration.
